Strawberry Jam Recipe with Mango Ingredients

  • 10 cups of strawberries

  • 5 mangoes

  • 2 teaspoons citric acid

  • 3-4 tablespoons pectin

  • 3 cups of white sugar

  1. Peel and cut the mangoes into medium cubes.

  2. Ladle the strawberries and cubed mangoes into the pot and spoon the white sugar on top.

  3. Cook the strawberries and mangoes on medium heat for about 30-40 minutes without covering and stirring occasionally so that the strawberries do not burn. Don’t forget to remove the foam from the boiling strawberries and mangoes.

  4. Add the citric acid and stir the fruits well until it has dissolved, which typically takes about 5 to 10 minutes. 

  5. Add the pectin into the glass with the warm water. Stir fast and strong to prevent it from curling up in the warm water. Mix the pectin well until it dissolves. Always pay attention to the instructions on the liquid pectin bottle.

  6. Then pour the pectin and water into the strawberries and mangoes and mix well. Bring the strawberry and mango jam to a boil and cook on low heat for 10 minutes.

  7. Prepare the jars and ladle the strawberry and mango jam into sterile jars. Seal the jars with the strawberry and mango jam.
