  • 5-6 rhubarbs
  • 3-4 cups white sugar
  • 1-2 teaspoons vanilla powder
  • 1 teaspoon citric acid

  1. Rinse the strawberries under cold water before cooking. Rinse the berries well to remove the remaining sand and dust.
  2. Then rinse the rhubarb well from the sand and dust. Cut the rhubarb into small squares.
  3. Transfer the strawberries and rhubarb into the big kitchen pot and add almost all white sugar. Set the kitchen saucepan full of strawberries and rhubarb aside. Close the lid and leave the saucepan with the strawberries, rhubarb, and sugar for 5-6 hours.

  5. Then spoon the vanilla and citric acid.
  6. After adding vanilla and citric acid, cook the rhubarb and strawberries on low heat for 20 minutes. Remove the foam from the strawberry jam surface.
  7. Ladle the strawberry jam into the sterile jars. Then seal and cool the jars. Transfer the jars with the strawberry rhubarb jam into the cold place.
